2020 seems like a long time ago already, but it marked a year of significant change in the social media marketing world. What more could possibly happen in 2021? On March 23, join social media marketing consultant, long-time blogger, and podcaster, Arik Hanson, as he talks about his predictions for what lies ahead in the new year for social media marketers.

You’ll hear insights into the future of Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms, as well as advice on how communicators can harness social trends to start the year ahead of the pack.
Arik is the principal of ACH Communications, a social media consultancy based in Minneapolis. With more than 25 years’ experience in traditional and digital marketing and communications, Arik brings a pragmatic approach to social media marketing and has worked with some of the biggest companies in the U.S. including Walmart, General Mills, Cargill, Sleep Number, and Dairy Queen.
His blog, Talking Points, is one of the longest-running social media and PR blogs in the country and has been featured on PR Daily, PR Web, and Business Insider in the past. His podcast, which he co-hosts with General Mills’ Kevin Hunt, is also one of the longest-running podcasts on social media and PR in Minnesota with almost 150 episodes in the can. Arik is also an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas where he teaches a class on social media and content marketing.
