A beautiful fall day in Traverse City, full of inspiration and insights from two, nationally recognized, advertising creatives. Welcome to Adtober! It's the first and only event of its kind in Traverse City - a one-day, in-person, creative retreat guaranteed to spark (or re-spark) that creative flame. And it's brought to you by the Great Lakes Bay Region Ad Club—representing advertising professionals throughout Central and Northern Michigan.
Speakers:
Mike Corbeille, A self-described, highly caffeinated, award-winning Creative Director, Mike recently served as Executive Creative Director with Quicken Loans. Mike has overseen creative ideation and teams for regional, national and global brands. He was lead creative on four Super Bowl spots, two of which won 1st place in the USA Today Admeter. Mike recently opened an amazing, family owned and operated BBQ restaurant. He promises to share some great stories, insights, and—who knows?!—maybe some ribs too!
Bill McKendry, Author, agency founder and entrepreneur, Bill is a leading authority on nonprofit marketing. He is the chief creative officer at HAVEN | a creative hub and the founder of the nonprofit organization, Do More Good®. In his workshop, Good to Growth | Practical Marketing IDEAS for Nonprofits, Bill will provide insights and tips from his over thirty-five years of helping nonprofit organizations expand their missions through more effective communications. Bill was inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) National Hall of Achievement for his work on behalf of nonprofits.
